Margaret “Peggy” Kathleen Wainwright
November 30, 1942 – November 20, 2021
It is with profound sadness that the family of Margaret “Peggy” Wainwright (nee McKerrow) announces her passing on November 20th 2021 at Oliver Lodge in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Peggy was born November 30th, 1942 to parents David and Vera McKerrow in Biggar, Saskatchewan. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, David and Vera McKerrow, Sister Jean and brother in-law Ernie.
Peggy is survived by her husband Archie; son Ian (Gerry); daughters Charlotte (Mark), Jennifer (Travis) and Colleen (Doug); grandchildren Jared (Katie), Ryan (Abigail), Jessica (Matthew), Reid (Abby), Courtney (David), Connor (Janaya), Lara, Josie, Sadie (Tommy) and Hunter; and great grandchildren Blaire, Clifford, William, Bowen and Remi.
Peggy completed her schooling in Biggar Saskatchewan and then went to nursing training at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. Peggy began her career at the Borden Union Hospital in 1962 where she me Archie. They were married in 1964. Peggy maintained her employment at the Borden hospital and later did housekeeping at the Borden Health Centre. Peggy retired in 2014. Peggy was also an active in the community of Borden. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Lions club and also the Anglican Church Vestry.
The family would like to thank the staff at Oliver Lodge for the care that Peggy received while she was there. A Memorial will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11am at the Borden Community Centre. Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

Peggy was a gracious hostess of Christmas and farewell parties for the Borden Hospital Staff , held at her beautiful home. Condolences to the family.
My heartfelt sorrow goes to you Archie and families on Peggy’s passing. I got to meet and spend time with Peggy and some of you at Oliver Lodge as we walked the path of dementia with our loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with. May God Bless! Brenda Cromwell
