Beverly Lorna Ann Penner
August 7, 1955 – May 12, 2020
It is with love that we announce the passing of Beverly Lorna Ann Penner on May 12, 2020. She was born on August 7, 1955 to parents Lawrence and Sarah (Waldner) Wallman. She lived a peaceful life. Beverly was predeceased by her brother Garry Wallman. She is survived by her two sons, Russel Penner (Angie Gee) and Gregory Penner (Charla) and 5 granddaughters (Carly, Brooklyn, Bailey, Amelia, and Helaina); and sister-in-law Pat Wallman(Harder) which she loved dearly.
Bev grew up on the family farm but moved to Saskatoon, completed a Business College diploma, and worked for Federated Cooperatives Ltd. for nearly 40 years. She received many awards for her perfect attendance and was quite proud of her accomplishments. She was also devoted member of the Life Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. Bev thoroughly enjoyed crafting activities with her grandchildren and the children in the Sunday school programs. In addition, Beverly was an active member in the Saskatoon Doll Club and enjoyed sewing.
Bev will be a remembered and missed as she took pride in maintaining ties to her extended family including her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
There will be a come and go viewing time held at the Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street on Friday, May 15, 2020 between 5pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life for Bev will be held at a later date. i was very shocked to hear that Bev had passed. I had not seen her since i left Federated; where we had spent many a lunch 1/2 hour and coffee break. Bev loved her grandchildren and was proud of her sons. She will have a fine place in heaven and look down on them all
