Dad had such a heart for helping people, he would give the shirt off his back if someone needed. He was very supporting to his family and friends. He also had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor, always finding ‘’the funny’’ in everything. Dad always found a way to see the bright side. He was full of one liners and dad jokes that were next to genius. Dad loved Cole Bay and the bush life! Its why he loved working in the forestry industry. For the last 20 plus years he tree-planted in the spring, did regen surveys when it cooled off in the fall, and commercial fished in the winter. He always said he tree-planted and fished for “The Boys’’. After mom retired from teaching, she was at dad’s side helping in everything he loved.

We know dad & mom have been reunited and are probably dancing together in heaven to Georgie Jones playing live.

Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home (306-254-2022).

To my great-nieces (Natasha & Trisha) , great-nephew (Josh) & all the Bouvier family, I extend my heartfelt condolences.

When Ron’s favorite country singer, George Jones passed away I remember Ron saying “who’s going to fill his shoes?”. Well, now the same can be said for Ron “who’s going to fill his shoes?” He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Ron’s family and friends. He was the quintessential nice guy. He always had a wave and a smile when I saw him. He and Pat gave us the privilege of helping to watch their children grow and we think of them as part of our family. Sending my prayers of strength to all who knew Ron. Your time on earth is done go rest … say high to Pat for me.
