1. Our deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. May you find comfort, strength, and peace as you move through your sorrow. My fondest memory of my Uncle Abe was how quickly he forgave and forgot. His cement smoke house. His blue truck. Teaching me how to build a garage. That if you cut a hot dog in half you can feed twice as many.

2. My deepest condolences to you Eva and your family on this tremendous loss. Abe was an incredibly kind, gracious and caring man – I loved listening to his stories about the “olden days” and seeing his smiling face as he spoke. The two of you represented what true love, faith and devotion is about.
   As you and your family grieve his loss, surround yourselves in your faith and your friends for support.
   The flowers in Ana’s garden will forever remind me of Abe.

3. May the God of all comfort and hope embrace you Eva and family in these difficult moments. Abe was a great friend and coworker as we ministered in the church and on Gospel Message radio board. Abe was always such an encouragement throughout the many years. A very talented man in everything he attempted. He will be fondly remembered. A well deserved rest!

5. ​Dear Eva and family,
   ​First, please accept our deepest condolences. May the peace and love of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, comfort and surround you all during this difficult time.

   ​As we reflect on Reverend Abe’s life, I wanted to share a heartwarming memory that so clearly demonstrates the gentle, kind-hearted man he was.
   ​One day, our mother somehow ended up on the floor at the care home. I’m not sure how Eva and Abe learned of the mishap, but they both came to her rescue right away. The home has a strict rule that no resident is to attempt lifting another person off the floor. Abe was limited with how to help. But seeing Mom so uncomfortable —he simply had an unwavering need to provide comfort.
   ​So, Abe (in his mid 80s) got right down on the floor, and Eva helped position mom so she could lean back-to-back against him. That selfless act gave our mother the support and relief she desperately needed until help arrived.
   ​Even in his eighties, Abe truly lived out Jesus’ comand to “love your neighbor as yourself.” Abe in his ministry didn’t just speak those words; he lived them. That day, he and Eva made me think of the song:
   ​”Lean on me, when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on.”
   ​Abe literally offered his own back for mother to lean on. We will forever be grateful for the love and kindness both of you showed our family.

8. Dear Maureen and Lisa, our condolences to your families and the extended Buhler family. I had a prior commitment so was not able to attend but am grateful to have seen the service online. Lisa, the song you signed for your Dad was lovely, what a tribute. May God comfort you all and wrap His arms around you to give you strength. Love Allan and Joanne

9. Heartfelt condolences to Eva, Margaret, Maureen, Lisa, and your families. Abe worked with us at the nursery for two summers. Although we were concerned that he was too old, we soon learned that he had a kind and steady heart, a truck load of common sense, and unerring horticultural instincts. The young people on our crew looked to Abe for guidance and support. They loved him too. We were all blessed to know him.

10. My condolences to the Buhler family!
    The reverend Abe Buhler ministered to the flock the way I think Jesus would have done when he walked the earth. The humble beginnings of my faith began in the bergthaler church, having the privilege to listen to Mr.Buhler on Sunday mornings, and I always liked hearing him preach. His stories helped to build my young faith ~ he always had a thoughtful way of reaching out, whether behind the pulpit or in physical action.
    I have a few fond memories of visiting with Abe and Eva at Phil and Maureen’s. He was always interested in others ; he will be dearly missed!
    May the love of our Lord and the comfort he gives, envelope you all as you grieve your husband, dad and grandpa💛

11. I remember working with Abe on the kill floor and pork bonning at Interon.
    Abe always had a positive attitude.
    I had many conversations with him about the Lord.
    I remember asking him one time. What is your favorite BIBLE VERSE .
    He replied there are to many to count.
    I said mine was John 10:10.
    He said thats a good one.
    GOD does make are life full.
    He truly did everything even gutting hog as unto the Lord.
    Intercon was a tuff place ti work.
    Abe always let his light shine for the Lord.
