In Loving Memory of Rosalinda L. Ilao
January 1, 1962 – June 24, 2026

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Rosalinda L. Ilao, who peacefully passed away at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Beloved wife to her husband of 37 years, devoted mother to three children, cherished family member, treasured friend, and beloved educator, Rosalinda leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. She loved God wholeheartedly and trusted in Him through every season of life. She placed her hope in the Lord and inspired those around her through her example of unwavering faith.

Born in the Philippines, Rosalinda dedicated much of her life to shaping the lives of others through education. She worked as a high school teacher for 21 years in the Philippines. After moving to Canada, she worked as an early childhood educator where her gentle spirit and nurturing heart helped young children grow.

To know Rosalinda was to experience warmth and kindness. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her home was a place of laughter, conversation, and full tables. She found great joy in cooking and hosting family and friends. She believed that sharing a meal was one of life’s simplest and greatest expressions of love.

Above all, Rosalinda was devoted to her family. She was married for 37 years to her husband, Roel Ilao. Together, they built a home filled with faith, love, laughter, and warmth. They raised three children: Fritz, Febe and Felize Ilao. And she was blessed with one daughter in law, Edmielyn Ilao. Her family will forever carry forward the values she lived by: kindness, compassion, hard work, and generosity. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and kindness brought comfort and joy to everyone she encountered.

Though we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the assurance that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she faithfully loved and served throughout her life. And we hold on to the promise we have in Jesus that we will one day be reunited with Rosalinda in heaven.
