Condolences to the entire Savage family. Your dad’s guiding principle in life was based on his unfailing faith in God. He exemplified this in his love for family, friends and in his professional life as an educator and counsellor.

Dr. Hugh Savage was a tremendous encouragement to me during my stint at the U of Sask graduate program in Ed.Psych. I am 70 now and retired after a career as a sec school and later as an elementary itinerant counsellor in BC. His generosity and belief in me, made all the difference in my life.
Thank you Dr. Savage. Your life has been a blessing to so many.
Remembering my uncle today. A fountain of knowledge, incredibly wise, and a man I deeply respected. Grateful for the time I had with him. Rest in peace❤️
Deepest sympathies to all of Hugh’s family!
I appreciated Uncle Hugh so much and looked forward to all of our conversations. He loved unconditionally and was so open to every line of thought without any hint of judgement. Forever a role model in my life – thank you and rest in peace Uncle Hugh ❤️
Many years ago when I attended the U. of S., I met Dr. Hugh Savage, and I confirm that he was an excellent listener, a very supportive and understanding person. His encouragement, his genuine interest in me as a student, and his obvious interest in always learning more, was impressive. My condolences to family and friends that have experienced a real loss.
