Carlie Elaine Lesko (Orchard)
March 1, 1968 – September 23, 2025
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carlie Elaine Lesko (Orchard).
Carlie was born on March 1, 1968, and passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 57.
Raised on a farm near Borden, Carlie spent her childhood immersed in farm life. She loved being surrounded by animals she adored, especially her horses and chinchillas, and was always seeking adventure, whether exploring on the family dune buggy or water skiing at the lake.
Carlie had a deep love for the Lord ever since she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior in grade 10. She met the love of her life, Bobby, at a Borden school dance in 1984 and from that day forward their unwavering commitment to each other carried them through every season. Together, they built a beautiful life on a farm outside of Hafford where they raised their three children.
Carlie’s greatest joy in life was her family—they were her world. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children and treasured every moment spent with her three granddaughters. She was always finding ways to share her love through thoughtful gifts and special time together.
Carlie will be remembered for her selfless love and generosity. Whether she was creating a crochet gift, filling her Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, caring for others as a nurse, opening her home to share a meal or gifting a doll from her collection, Carlie’s heart overflowed with kindness. Her and Bobby’s door was always open, and no one left their home empty-handed. Carlie’s warmth and compassion touched everyone who knew her, leaving a legacy of love that will continue in the hearts of her family and friends.
She found joy in the mountains and on the water, whether enjoying water sports or spending time on a kayak, floatie or paddle board. She expressed her creativity through crafting, loved spending time in her garden and cherished heartfelt visits with company.
Carlie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bobby; her children, Evan (Latraca) Lesko, Rebekah (David) Millar and Haylie Lesko; her granddaughters, London and Tessa Lesko and Taya Millar; her siblings, Kevin Orchard and Tracey (Kevin) Hendriks and many extended family and friends. Her wonderful parents, Keith and Irene Orchard, passed away before her.
Please join us for a Memorial Service on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bay Park Baptist Church, 1419 33rd St W, Saskatoon, SK.
Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

To Carlie’s family! You do not know me but I met Carlie a few years ago when she used to come to the thrift stores in Warman and Osler where I worked. We started talking, she said she was from Borden. She knew who my husband was and his cousins as they all grew up in that area. She always brightened my day when she came in and we always had a lovely visit. I am so sorry she passed away. May God give you strength each day to go on! Shirley Hiebert Dalmeny Sask.
