Murray (Conald) Waldner
December 21, 1936 – October 8, 2023
It’s with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our dad, grandfather and great-grandfather Murray (Conald) Waldner, on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Murray was born to David and Annie Waldner at home on their farm in Langham, SK and grew up there with his 9 siblings. He met the love of his life, Lynn Curtis, whom he married on May 18, 1962. Family was everything to Murray but those who knew him know of his love for coffee dates, scratch tickets, the ball field and any involvement in the community. He touched every soul he met. He will be greatly missed by all, but never forgotten.
Murray leaves behind his daughter Jaye Russell (Don) of Sherwood Park, son Dean of Saskatoon, son Guy of Saskatoon, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He leaves behind his sister Edna of Saskatoon, sister-in-law’s Ona and Eileen of Saskatoon, aunt Iris and many nieces and nephews. He is now with his Lord and Saviour.
The service will be held at Emmanuel Country Church (Lutheran Road & 3071) on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.
