How sad I am to say goodbye to dear Linda. She came for Dave’s birthday July 11th and we never thought that a month and half later she would be gone. What a wonderful, jolly and caring Christian lady she was. Her and Dave and Betty and Jerry Wiebe camped her for a number of years every summer. Those were such great weekends with them all. I will really miss getting together with us six. I am so thankful that the five of us were able to get together for my husband Dave’s birthday in July. I also enjoyed the Penner family gospel singing group. My condolences to all the family.

Deepest condolences to all – to say this was a shock is an understatement. She will be missed and the absence of her smiling face at our gatherings will be noticed!

I have known Linda for nearly 50 years. We taught side by side and became dear friends. She introduced me to Scrapbooking by taking photos of our wedding and gifted us with a fabulous album. Since we have shared, on many different occasions, the joy of being together and working on one of our passions. Our condolences to her family. She will be greatly missed.

I was fortunate to be a colleague of Linda’s for many years and she was always such a calm, capable, dedicated teacher with a great sense of humour. I like to think that Dave was waiting for her, cowboy hat in hand, to take her out on the square dance floor. My sincere condolences to all those who loved Linda.

Linda taught my 3 sons, Ryan, Brian and Alan. She was an amazing teacher and a lovely lady, she will be deeply missed by many of her students in Martensville. My sympathy to the Penner and Wiebe families.

Linda has been a special friend for many years. We are so saddened at her passing. Our deepest sympathy to all of Linda’s family and to Dave’s family. May God “give strength and comfort according to His Word” – Psalm 119:28 & 76. 🙏

I met Linda through a mutual interest we shared. Linda was a beautiful Christian soul, who deeply loved the Lord. My visits with her always left me encouraged, and even more so after Dave’s passing. I will think of her every time I scrapbook and attend retreats! May she rest in peace.

Linda was my teacher back when I was a kid. She had always been one of my favourite teachers. Later Dave and Linda had become good friends with my uncle and aunt, when visiting their home she had recognized my brother and I. Then on we attended many scrapbooking events together. I will sure miss her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the Penner family. Linda was a wonderful loving Aunt to my daughter in law Denine and she showed great love for all her family. She greeted everyone with a smile and a sunny disposition! She will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. May fond memories and a strong belief in God be a comfort.

I only heard last night that Linda passed in August; even though she had told me in July that Dave passed in April. I’m still in shock. I was a co-missionary with Dave & Linda in Belize for the time they were there. My sicerest condolence to you all as family. Love & prayers – Mary Driedger (Nurse)
