Joshua Peters

March 7, 1984 – July 8, 2022

It is with deep sorrow we announce Joshua Peters left this world on July 8, 2022. Josh was born March 7, 1984 and was raised in Langham, SK. He and Candice later chose to raise their own family in Langham. He loved being a father and was a fierce advocate and cheerleader for his children, while also being a wonderfully fun parent. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours canoeing with his family on the North Saskatchewan River in summer. Josh was a gifted musician who was deeply connected with the music scene in Saskatoon and involved with several musical projects throughout his life. He loved all creative endeavours, but especially loved composing lyrics.

He is deeply missed by Candice, their children Larson and Evelyn, Josh’s parents Edwin and Mary Ann, his siblings Nathanial (Sasha), Chelsea (John), Cherise (Matthew), and Holly, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at Lakeview Church, 19 Glazier Rd, Saskatoon, SK on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM, with a luncheon to follow.

Was very sad to hear this. Josh and I met working together at kenroc years ago. He was very passionate about his family, and we connected on that level for sure. We shared many laughs and conversations about life and spirituality. We kept in touch after we stopped working together, grabbing the occasional lunch to catch up, and eventually trading his trade of massage, for mine of tattooing. Josh was always such a positive, motivated person, and I always left our meetings feeling inspired to live life well. He loved his life, and was always trying to figure out how to be a better dad , husband, friend ., he had an infectious zest for life. He made the world a better place. I’m gonna miss him a lot. My deepest condolences to Candace and his children, and his family and all that loved him. Rest in power my friend.

  • Jeff Wells Posted July 15, 2022 8:20 pm

My deepest condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Josh over the last number of years through his work.

I’ll truly miss him as my sales rep and as a friend.

Every time I called on Josh for help he was there and did everything in his power to solve a problem. His kindness did not go unnoticed yet I doubt I ever expressed how much I appreciated him. (Lesson for us all)

I’m glad I was able to have Josh in my life, and to his family I’m so very sorry he is gone.

    Best Regards

Sincere condolences to Candace and family. I fondly remember many discussions with Josh; I enjoyed his quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. He will be missed.

  • Rodelle Genoway Posted July 19, 2022 10:21 am

Josh was our sales rep since our very first build and from the moment I met him he made an impact. We were new to the industry and really had no idea what we were doing and Josh went out of his way, took us out for lunch and helped us do takeoffs from our drawings.

Through the years of getting to know Josh, I learned about his kids, his siblings and his talents in music and writing. I joked many times with Josh that we wanted to clone him because he was one of our best sales reps through his excellent communication skills and easy-going attitude.

Not only will his family and friends have a huge void without him, the construction industry will feel it as well. Sending much love to Josh’s family, friends and colleagues.

  • Carol & Orville Epp Posted July 25, 2022 6:10 pm
