To Edna and Jerry! So sorry for your mom’s passing! May God be with you during this difficult time. Your parents were some of my mom and dad’s best friends and remember visiting them often when I was young. I loved her wonderful sense of humour!

Thank you for arranging for live streaming the service. It was lovely to learn more about Aunt Esther’s (and Uncle Ike`s) life and family. With my family`s time in the West Indies and dad (Norman) and mom (Mary) staying in BC to be near mom`s family, our visits to Saskatchewan were brief, but my memory of Aunt Esther was definitely triggered by ‘Good Gracious’ and the ‘farm cake.’ That she loved games and playing tricks was a reputation that was known even in BC. I appreciated seeing cousins and visually meeting grandchildren and great-grandchildren and hearing that they knew and loved her. That Covid has so modified our world of love and connections is part of its sad legacy.

Dear Esther’s family, Mrs. G was a huge part of my life. She was our next door neighbor in Martensville. She babysat me and my brother Jeff for many years. I just want you all to know she was such wonderful Christian example to me. I will cherish every memory we had with her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort all of you.
