Zarayza Hladun

Zarayza Melanie Anne Hladun

July 28, 1985 – November 23, 2020

Zarayza was born in St. John, NB, and resided in Bolton, ON,  Waldheim, SK and Saskatoon, SK, during her school years. Her love of the ocean called her back to the Maritimes where she loved spending time outdoors and at the beach. She loved her cats as her own children. Zoey, as she was known in NB, spent her adult life caring for the elderly in New Brunswick until she passed. Wherever she went she brought smiles to the people around her, and was always able to make new friends, who will miss her dearly.

She is predeceased by her father Darrell Michael Hladun. She is lovingly remembered by her mother Carol Hladun (Murray); brother Shane Hladun (Stacy); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from her father’s side in Ontario, as well as her mother’s side in Saskatchewan.

Memorial contributions may be made to your local SPCA in honor of Zarayza’s love for animals.

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance is limited to invitation only.

Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

My heartfelt condolence to Zoey’s family . I worked with Zoey at the Wal-Mart in Saskatoon. She loved working in the pet department. She always had a smile on her face and was a real pleasure to work with . A person with a heart of gold . Heaven has received a new angel

I will always cherish the memories & the friendship we had in elementary school & throughout high school. You remained my friend since we met & I will never forget it. You even visited me at my workplace of Walmart constantly when you came back home of our home town of Bolton. I’m deeply saddened to hear about your death. My deepest condolences to the family, I’m here for you when your ready to reach out to her friends as well for comfort. Zarayza, I will deeply miss you no matter what!
