Joan Carol Davis
August 12, 1942 – September 30, 2020
Joan Davis passed away peacefully on September 30, 2020 surrounded by family. Always a strong woman, she courageously battled cancer for several years. Joan was born August 12, 1942 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She is survived by her loving husband George Davis, 3 sons; Rick (Erin), Terry (Krista) and Bob (Alicia), 6 grandchildren (Kristin, Sydney, Caitlin, Marissa, Mitchell and Kayla) and 2 great grandchildren, her sister Liz and her brother Bill (Kathy) and her many friends. Joan is predeceased by her son Dan, her parents Earl and Caroline, and two brothers Jack and Harold.
Joan was the heart of our home and family. She was always welcoming to friends, family and anyone fortunate enough to knock on her door or sit by her on “the bench”. The coffee was always on and if you had time for a meal it was more likely to be a feast. Her favorite was roast beef and Yorkshire pudding followed by the most delicious homemade pie you have ever tasted.
Joan will be laid to rest in the Leney Cemetery at a private graveside service. Arrangements in care of DALMENY FUNERAL HOME 306-254-2022.

I am so sorry to hear of Joan’s death. I still remember visiting back when we were so very much younger and I had both of my parents–one of them Joan’s Aunt Nellie. The Hails family will always hold a special place in my heart.

My deepest condolences to Joan’s family. She will be deeply missed. I always was glad to run into her outside. Joan was always in a good mood and no matter what she was going through she never showed it. She was an extremely brave lady!
