Cecil is survived by his loving children; Allen (Lenora) Barrett, Ron (Jo-Anne Nickel) Barrett, Don Barrett, Pam (Lorne) Quiring, Vanessa (Ray) Brady, Barb (Trevor) Anderson, and Ken (Kathy) Barrett; his grandchildren Morgan (Rylan) Schaller, Azya Barrett, Brayden Barrett, Brent, Darren and Leanne Quiring, Hayley and Taygen Anderson, Brooke Barrett, and great-grandson Jude Schaller.

Cecil was a loving husband and an amazing father who always found time to take his family on many outdoor adventures. Cecil was an avid railroader with a passion for collecting. The family of Cecil would like to thank all the many compassionate medical staff who cared for him over the last few years.

Cecil had been a good man, he taught my father how to drive a scooter and they often went out to eat steak. My father got to know something new through him, thank you very much for that.

Condolences on Cecil’s death. We visited Arno in Langham a few times. Cecil showed us around Langham and the surrounding area and showed us a lot of interesting things. The museum in Langham was very close to his heart, we were there and enjoyed it very much.
We will keep what we experienced with Cecil in our hearts.
    Christine and Ludger
