The family of Helen Reimer wishes to announce that she was released from her physical body and suffering early Monday, May 27, 2019 at the age of 93. Helen is survived by her five daughters and their families: Denise and Larry Epp of Rosthern, Amy Epp and Joe Hamilton (Naomi, Orie), Aron Epp and Linda Kroeker; Rhonda and Richard Wright of Kamloops, BC, Richard Wright and Darby Briggs, Ryan and Sandra Wright (Jackson, Terry); Sheila and Gerry Klassen of Hanley, Andrea Klassen, Darren Klassen and Sarah Dodd (Julie, Colby, Bradleigh), Stephanie and Chris McRae; Carol and Bryan Wiebe of Saskatoon, Jon Wiebe (Dakota and Daniel, son Dean), Tim Wiebe and Dayna Heron, Kaitlyn Wiebe; Leanne and Mark Ewert of Ryley, AB, Michael Ewert, Jennifer and Nathan Labrecque (Ethan), Ashleigh and Austin Kaiser (Gabriel, Layne). She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius Reimer, March 15, 1996; her parents, Johann and Maria Bartsch; and her sister, Nettie Hamm and many Reimer sisters and brothers-in-law. Helen’s family is very grateful to the staff of 3300 City Hospital and the staff at Sunnyside Adventist Care Home for their care and attention to their mother while she resided with them. A big thank you to those from Cornerstone and Bethany Manor for many years of friendship and support. She was blessed to have all of you in her life. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00 am with Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 pm at Bethany Manor Fellowship Centre, 110 La Ronge Road, Saskatoon SK. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 600 45th Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W9. Arrangements entrusted to Stefan Funk at DALMENY FUNERAL HOME 306-254-2022.
