Eva Stobbe

February 1, 1954 – April 14, 2019

Eva Stobbe went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer. Eva was born February 1, 1954 to Abram and Helena Klassen. Eva grew up on a farm for approx. 6 years and then they moved to Neuanlage. On March 30, 1972 she married the love of her life, Clifford Stobbe. After Clifford’s father passed away in 1975, they farmed the family farm and continued to do so until Clifford’s death in October 2011. In 2001 Eva started working part time at Spruce Manor Special Care Home in Dalmeny and continued to do so until February of this year. She leaves to mourn two sisters: Nettie (Don) Heppner and Sue (Garry) Kehler, one brother-in-law Albert Vermette, five sister-in-laws: Elaine Klassen, Gloria (Ed) Nagy, Carol McCrea, Joyce Stobbe and Marilyn Stobbe. Also Herta Epp (friend of the family) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by parents Abram and Helena Klassen, parents-in-law Emil and Blanche Stobbe, husband Clifford Stobbe, six sisters: Margaret Klassen, Tena (Pete) Neufeld, Helen (Henry) Thiessen, Betty (Bill) McIntyre, Mary Vermette and Annie Klassen, two brothers: Abe Klassen and Jake Klassen. Eva will be deeply missed. Viewing for family and friends will be on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, SK. Funeral Service will take place at Dalmeny Bible Church, 406 Wakefield Ave, Dalmeny, SK  on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at the Langham Cemetery.
