During COVID-19 our commitment to supporting families and friends while facing a loss remains unwavering.
Effective February 28, 2022 Masks are NO LONGER mandatory at all indoor public places.
Effective July 11, 2021, there is NO LIMIT to the total number of people participating in all Funeral & Memorial services in Saskatchewan. Food and beverage services ARE now permitted.
The following preventative measures and protocols will continue to be in place to keep our facilities as safe as possible for you, our colleagues and the community at large.
At this time, we have taken the following additional preventative measures and suggested protocols to keep our facilities safe and clean for you, our colleagues and the community at large.
- We ask that everyone call ahead to make an appointment, for any reason (including dropping off or picking up items, donation cards, or other general inquiries). We are available by phone 24/7 306-254-2022.
- We have increased the use of telephone and electronic means to communicate with people in making the funeral arrangements and fulfilling other requests, to limit the traffic in and out of the funeral home as much as possible at this time.
- We offer client families an electronic option to arrange funeral and cremation services without having to enter our building if they want.
- Dalmeny Funeral Home has all the capabilities to professionally live stream a service from any location without ads or popups.
- We ask that you NOT come to the funeral home in person if:
- You have a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath or otherwise feel ill
- Have been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19
- We ask that instead you remain home and contact us by phone or email, and we will do our best to assist you.
- If you wish you send a card to the family please mail it to Dalmeny Funeral Home, Box 81, Dalmeny SK S0K 1E0 and we will pass it on to the family in a timely manner.
We highly recommend you rely on trusted and respected health services for information on the virus.
