February 15, 1959 – January 9, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernie Redekop after a hard fought battle with long term illness. He will be dearly missed by his son Dylan; his brothers Reuban (Connie), Henry (Maxine), Arnie (Megan) and Bill (Susan); as well as numerous other family and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny SK. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

    I’ve known Bernie since high school. Always enjoyed his company. He was a great guy.

    Dear Redekop Family:

    I felt a profound sadness when I heard the news of Bernie’s passing. My memories are that he was a straight shooter, he had that incredible Redekop smile and he would look you in the eye in the most friendly way. Bernie and his legacy will always be remembered. Please accept my deepest condolences as my thoughts are with all of you.

    We were saddened to hear of Bernie’s passing. It was always a pleasure to see Bernie, he could brighten up a room wherever we were and we quite enjoyed it each time we met. Please accept our deepest condolences, our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.
