Heather Wallace
April 14, 1956 – August 10, 2021
Heather Janet Wallace (Wensley) passed away in the loving presence of family on August 10, 2021. Heather was born on April 14, 1956 in Saskatoon, SK to Clive and Gladys Wensley of Borden.
Heather is survived by her mother, Gladys; husband, Dave; children, Justin Meena (Keri), Malinda Hack (James); siblings Raymond Wensley (Shirley-Ann), Terry Wensley (Marina), Colin Wensley (Tonya), Lynette Zielinski (Leonard), Tricia Grzybowski (Kevin); grandchildren that meant the world to her Dakota, Drew, Elijah, Kezia, Mateya; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Heather is predeceased by her father, Clive; first husband and father of her children, Everett; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Laurienne Meena; niece, Breanna Wensley; and nephew, Aaron Wensley.
Heather grew up on the farm in a loving household. She had many fond memories of playing with her siblings and getting together with all of her beloved cousins. After high school, Heather moved to Saskatoon to attend post-secondary and later met her first husband, Everett Meena.
Heather welcomed her first child, Justin, in 1978, and then Malinda in 1983. Heather moved frequently during her first few years of marriage. She settled in Saskatoon following her divorce and on February 14, 1998 Heather married Dave Wallace, her husband of 23 years. During this time, she went to SIAST to obtain her Educational Assistant Certificate.
Heather will be remembered as a caring, loving mom, grandma, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend who went above and beyond to make everyone feel special. She spent countless hours picking out gifts and making crafts to give to everyone. Heather could make friends with anyone, whether it was walking through the mall, singing karaoke, or going to church. She was great at maintaining connections with people even if they had not talked in a while or were provinces apart. In times of need, Heather was there without hesitation, willing to help out in any way.
A Funeral Service will be held at Borden Community Hall on Friday, August 13, 2021 with a public viewing starting at 1:00 pm, and service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Borden Cemetery. Pastor Len Bachiu will officiate the service and interment. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the MS Society, 2-706 Duchess Street, Saskatoon, SK S7K 0R3 in honour of her husband.

I am shocked and so saddened to read of Heather’s passing. Our sincerest sympathy to all of you, on behalf of all of the Hosegood’s.
So sorry for the loss of your wife & mother, Dave, Justin & Malinda & all the family. Heather lived beside us for many yrs & she & I had many visits out in the flowers. Wonderful person & you were so fortunate to have her in your lives.
Heather you will be missed by many friends and family. You have a heart of gold . Caring loving friend,loving Mom and Grandmother. and last but not least Wife. You go far beyond to care for those you love. R>I>P you have fought long and hard to stay but now its time to rest

have lost a sister and I am saddened by this tragic loss. It has been a long hard road for Heather these past few years. We always kept close and her love to my Mother Patricia will always be close in my heart. Rest in Peace.

Our sincere condolences to all of Heather’s family. We knew Heather back from high school days up to living in the same area of Lawson Heights in Saskatoon. Heather was a great woman. Always friendly and willing to stop for chats. May all of you cherish the special times you had with her.
Your light and faith were a wonderful inspiration to me and , I believe, many. Though we were only casual friends it was easy to see that you were a genuine person that I could trust to be filled with kindness and caring.

I cannot find the right words to express my heartfelt sorrow in Heather’s passing. She was a wonderful cousin when we were children, and a lovely person through out her life. My heart goes out to all the family for the loss of their daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend. She will be rememberd fondly and oftern.
