Dianne E. Jurgens

December 21, 1958 – December 3, 2020

Dianne E. Jurgens passed away suddenly on December 3, 2020 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 61.  She spent less than a month with her battle with cancer and organ failure.

Dianne was born to Fred and Marie Jurgens in Leroy, SK.  She spent her years growing up on a farm near Romance, SK and went to school in Watson, SK.

She will be remembered and dearly missed by her daughter Dawn (Will); her two sons Lucas and Jacob; her grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Kendra-Dawn, Shawn and step-grandson Jordan.  She will also be missed by her sisters Mardelle Jurgens Pastl, Linda Jurgens, MaryLee Jurgens and brother Wayne Jurgens.  She will also be missed by her very good friends Tracey and Elita, her other friends and co-workers.  She was predeceased by her father Fred Jurgens, mother Marie Korte (Jurgens) and her sister Joyce Bay.

Dianne had a very kind and gentle soul and was well known for being very proud of her grandchildren and talking about them.  She also loved her cockatiel (Charlie). She had a passion for baking buns, cinnamon buns, banana bread, cookies and other goods and treats for others to enjoy and she was a very good cook. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, her son Jacob, making leather beaded mitts and slippers.  She really enjoyed sewing everything from purses, masks, pillow cases, cushion covers and blankets for her grandkids.  Dianne also enjoyed doing small sewing repairs for her grandkids, her sons and other people.  She also had a good sense of humor and could be quite comical often and enjoyed horse play and joking around with her family and friends.

Dianne’s wishes were to be cremated, her cremation took place on December 10, 2020.  The family has decided there will be no funeral but a Celebration of Life will take place in the summer of 2021, date and time to be determined.
