I always had a great admiration for Bro Wicks stately manner and well chosen words. Often the tilt of his head would bring a smirk and then his solid Godly advise would follow. As a teenager, l remember him always as a gentleman and as years past both John and l admired his calm steady walk in the Lord! Our hearts are with each one of you as you will definitely miss his presence here; we pray he will be one of the dear faces to smile and greet you soon upon entering heavens gates!

So glad so much good has been said about this man, as a believer and lover of the Lord. I heard about it while livestreaming this morning. God bless the family. There is a huge world wide family in the Lord too, that you don’t even know, and you are in our prayers.
We just heard of Bro. Dave’s passing and were saddened to hear the news. We have so many memories of visiting the Wicks’ home some years back and have never forgotten the kindness and hospitality shown by Bro. Dave and the family. We shall always treasure the precious memories and are so privileged to have met such a Christian gentleman. May the God of all peace give you peace and comfort at this time knowing Bro. Wicks is safe in God’s keeping. We look forward to the glorious day of meeting him again. May the Lord richly bless the entire family. We are thinking much about you and praying for you during this time of such great loss.
