Robert Michael Wood
January 8, 1982 – May 18, 2020
It is with deep regret and heavy hearts we announce Rob’s sudden passing.
He was known for his quick wit, intelligence and broad knowledge on many subjects, he was always up for a good conversation.
Rob had a passion for mycology, and loved to travel around hunting for various mushrooms. He enjoyed fishing, camping & the mountains and always looked forward to attending as many punk shows as possible. He treasured his relationships with his friends and family, and was so proud of his 17 year old son Dylan.
He leaves behind his partner of 19 years, Stacy Oosthoek, their son Dylan Wood, his parents, Billi & Monty Wood, Grandfather Bill Turner, Sister Gillian Hepp (Joey) In-laws Rudy & Karen Oosthoek as well as 2 nieces, 2 nephews and his aunt & uncle.
He left his mark on all he met.
We will celebrate Robert Wood at a later date due to COVID. Arrangements entrusted to Katrina Funk at DALMENY FUNERAL HOME 306-254-2022.

I will miss seeing you Rob. You were always so kind as well as funny. I loved how you were so enamored and devoted to Stacey. You will be missed.
