Walter Klassen
January 14, 1960 – January 9, 2020
We are sorrowfully announcing the sudden passing of Walter David Klassen on January 9, 2020. Walter was born on January 14, 1960 to parents David and Tina Klassen of Aberdeen, SK. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, his children: Bobbilee, Loralyn (Mike), Deder (Lisa), Christopher (Rieann), Sarah, Alex (Awhina). His grandchildren: Makenna, Kyra, Carter, Kallie; Madison, Kathrina, Chase, Rayne, Raquel; Lauren, Paige, Mia; Bohdi, Beck; Arimina. His siblings: Doreen (Murray), Fred (Linda), Glenn (Jo), Herb (Nadine) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, David (2019) and Tina (2000), his brother Gordon (1999) and his infant sister (1957). Prayers will be held at the Aberdeen Mennonite Church, Aberdeen, SK on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Celebration of Life will be held at the Aberdeen Community Hall, Aberdeen, SK on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00 am. A graveside service will be held immediately afterwards, at which time his grave will be closed by hand. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the many charities of the community of Aberdeen. Arrangements entrusted to DALMENY FUNERAL HOME 306-254-2022.
