William ‘Bill’ Siemens
December 20, 1940 – September 1, 2019
Bill passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 78 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Elsie; son Tony (Asunta), Joshua & Sebastian; son Jason (AnDrea), & Emerson. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Mount Royal Mennonite Church, 610 Avenue O N, Saskatoon, SK. Memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 600 45th St W, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W9. Arrangements entrusted to DALMENY FUNERAL HOME 306-254-2022.

Fond remembrances of working with Bill on building the Westmount School playground and then with him on our house addition and renovation. I was always struck by his wise judgements and commitment to getting the job done right coupled with care for others and the community.
Certainly a life well lived.

Our condolences to Bill’s family and siblings. May God comfort each of you. I (G), have fond memories of when we were young. Bill, cousin Elviera Thiessen and I were all born the same week. First me, Dec. 18, then Bill, 20, and Elviera on the 22nd. Our families were rarely together, but I do treasure these memories.
