1938 – 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce Dad’s earthly journey has ended. We celebrate his new journey to his heavenly home.
Dad passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years.
Dad was one of 17 siblings born from the union of Isaac and Helena. He was raised on a farm near Dalmeny. He met the love of his life Mary, and they were married for 67 years and were blessed with 7 children.
Dad was a hard worker. He worked in construction until he and mom started the dairy in the late 70’s. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with family, camping and fishing.
Peter is survived by his wife Mary; children Edward, Carl, Nellie (Robert), Kelly, Deanna, and Andy (Rachel) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers and one sister.
Dad was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Helena; daughter Brenda and granddaughter Julianne as well as seven brothers, one sister and three siblings at birth.
A viewing will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny. A Funeral Service to take place on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Neuanlage Old Colony Mennonite Church, 20 Main Street, Neuanlage, SK.
