Kenneth John Bell
April 2, 1959 – August 26, 2026
It is with profound sadness that Kenneth John Bell passed away in Hospice care on Hilliard Street in Saskatoon after a 1 year long battle with colon cancer.
Predeceased by his mom and dad AGATHA and ALBERT, sister-in-laws JOANNE and ROXANNE, nephew STEVEN, step-son COLTON, brother RICK.
Survived by his loving wife DEBORAH, son BRETT (LAURA), step-daughter STACEY and grandsons JAXSON and LANDON, sister SANDRA, brothers WADE (PAT), GERALD (LOUISA), PHILIP, sister BRENDA (WAYNE).
Ken was born in Saskatoon, SK, at City Hospital.
His first job was at the bus depot, then delivered pizzas, he went to Uranium City for a winter, then he worked for his brother, Wade, drafting at WB Design 1979 to 1987.
He loved his job at Case New Holland (CNH) formerly Flexi-coil as assembly worker, working close to 30 years. He wanted to work until he was 70 but was forced to retire due to failing health.
He was just like his Dad always fixing or building something, a real handy man. His final project was a model ship of the HMS Victory.
He liked to play card games, board games, war games, chess and backgammon, as well as gardening and he loved dogs.
The family would like to thank the Hospice at Glengarda for their excellent care, as well as to Palliative Care, Royal University Hospital, and Dalmeny Funeral Home.
At Ken’s request there will be no funeral service.
Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.
