Judy May Regamey
October 28, 1958 – December 22, 2025
The many family and friends of Judy May Regamey would like to announce that Judy was Promoted to Glory on December 22, 2025.
Judy was born to John and Eva Halvorsen in 1958 and had many fond memories of growing up with her siblings Larry, Rodger, Pauline, Jack, Glenn, Gladys, Elaine, Paul, and Dale in Melfort, Saskatchewan. Judy stayed close with her siblings throughout her life.
At the time of her passing, Judy was surrounded by her beloved husband Henri Regamey, and her three sons Nathan, Matthew (Kirsten), and Andrew (Jennifer).
Following her terminal cancer diagnosis, Judy knew that the time she was given was a gift from God. She was filled with gratitude at the opportunity to slow down, enjoy the ordinary, and make an abundance of happy memories, especially with her grandchildren whom she adored: Nolan, Jorie, Raya, and Benjamin.
Judy’s life of faithful service through the Salvation Army and beyond, touched countless lives across Canada and around the world. Those who were blessed to know her, always felt special, loved, and cared for in her presence.
Henri, Nathan, Matthew and Andrew would like to thank Judy’s brothers and sisters, Henri’s brothers and sisters, and especially Judy’s best friend Joy, for the outpouring of love and care they offered Judy and her family as she prepared to be welcomed into heaven.
A special thank-you to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre, the Palliative Home Care Team, St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit, and The Salvation Army who ensured Judy’s journey home was handled with grace, love, and community.
Judy’s celebration of life will be held at The Salvation Army Saskatoon Temple at 38 Bateman Crescent in Saskatoon, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 30th. At Judy’s request, following the service and luncheon, all are welcome at Beaver Creek Camp at 3:00 pm for a wiener roast with s’mores.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Salvation Army or Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

Henri and Family, and all of Judy’s siblings (my cousins), I’m so sorry to hear of your great loss and send my deepest sympathy. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen you. For Judy it’s glorious! She has reached her heavenly home! “And when I awake in heaven, I will be fully satisfied, for I will see You face to face.” Psalm 17:15
We have the hope in Jesus of a beautiful reunion ahead and what a time of rejoicing that will be!
With my love and prayers to you all.
As one who has seen the devastating affect of losing a loved one so close to this holiday, I pray God will continue to be with you all during this time, A friend of mine from my Corps of Grand Falls Citadel was promoted to glory too from a cancer diagnosis and it was hard on us all, Will continue to keep the Regamey family in my prayers as you move forward
