Hilda Reimer

Hilda Reimer

June 10, 1938 – December 7, 2025

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7.

Hilda was born June 10, 1938, to Peter and Aganetha Wiebe in Osler, SK and entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on December 7, 2025.

On August 30, 1959, she married the love of her life, John Reimer. They shared life’s joys and sorrows for 36 years, until John’s passing on November 15, 1995. They were blessed with three children: Thomas, William, and Margaret. Hilda faced the next 30 years with a fierce determination to make the most of every situation, living life to the fullest and always looking to Jesus to be her source of strength. The past 8 months were the most challenging months she would face as her health slowly declined. She faced these months with grace and dignity often saying “If this is where God wants me to be, then that’s where I will be”.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Thomas (Karen) and their children Brenda (Andrew) Klassen, Timothy and Jacob: Wendy (Michael) Klassen, John, Travis, and Dawn. Her son William (Theresa) and their children Lance, Jordan, and Crystal. Her daughter Margaret (George) Unger and their children Nicole, and Jason (fiancée Ivy Warnock).

In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.

As per Hilda’s request there will be no viewing. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Warman Bergthaler Mennonite Church at 11:00 a.m. To watch the live stream please click on the link below.

  1. Our sincere sympathy to Hilda’s family. We met Hilda as we worked together at the Gospel Echoes auctions. She was a hard worker & so fun to work with. I will always remember how many pies we cut/served, her famous chokecherry pie that would get auctioned, her wonderful sense of humor & her little furball Shasta. Hilda has left you her family a wonderful, meaningful legacy. May you feel God’s loving comfort & care as you grieve.

  2. Our deepest condolences to the Reimer family!! May you find comfort knowing she is now with her Lord and Saviour!!

  3. To Hilda’s children & grandchildren; my sincere condolences to all of you, my thoughts & prayers are with you. She was one of my mom’s cousins, and it was a joy getting to know her.

  4. We knew Hilda and John from the Warman MB Church. We exchanged Christmas cards every year. I didn’t realize until just now (Feb.22/26) that Hilda had gone on to her reward, which was great I’m sure. She was a true Christian, shining the love of God. I will meet her and John again! Sincerest condolences to the family.
