John Hildebrand
February 27, 1937 – October 17, 2025
John Hildebrand passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 88. He was a hard-working man who devoted himself to his family. He loved nature, fishing and hunting, and many family vacations were spent camping at various northern lakes. Along with his wife Kay, their home was a popular gathering place for extended family. In his retirement he took up wood working and became an accomplished pen turner, teaching classes at Lee Valley.
John leaves to mourn his children Rod, Connie, Michael and James (Amanda), grandchildren Jon (Shaylyn), Brandon (Sydney), and Tyler (Penjani) and great grandchildren Jackson, Parker, Kayden and Remi.
The family would like to thank the Healthy Life Care Home and Oliver Lodge for their care and compassion.
Funeral will be on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, with the interment to follow at Hoffnungsfelder Cemetery at Glenbush, SK for those who wish to attend.

My deepest sympathy to all of Johns Family..I had the pleasure of having your dad in our woodworking shop at Oliver Lodge. He was a great man to have working with us..He always looked forward to come and help us every Friday in working on many projects we did. I was sadden to hear of his passing but the memories he left will help all who knew him and get us trough this difficult time…Rest in peace and God Bless.
