Jake Froese
February 6, 1934 – October 16, 2025
Jake went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on October 16, 2025.
Jake is predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Hazel, his son, Wendell, his parents, Henry and Katharina, and his siblings Aaron and Erna. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters: Sharon (Howard), and Joanne; grandchildren: Shelaine, Joel, Gina, Andrew, Jenessa, Sharelle (Dallas) – Harrison, Flynn, and Blythe; siblings: Helen, Mary, Anne, John, Louise, George, Harry, Ernest, Gerald, and Ken.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at West Portal Church, 3134 33rd St. West in Saskatoon.

Jake was a good friend of mine and a sincere and dedicated servant of Jesus. I first learned to know him at Briercrest where we both gradusted in 1955. Our friendship continued over the years. Besides many other areas of service, Jake’s work with the Gideons was outstanding. May the God of all comfort sustain and encourage you , his family.
Our deepest condolences Sharon, Joanne and families. We have fond memories of Jake from working with him on the Central Haven Board and his wisdom and insights he brought while serving on the church leadership board at West Portal. Jake and Hazel were a very caring and personable presence in our lives. He has left a legacy of a strong faith in Jesus and service in so many committees and organizations including The Gideons. May beautiful memories bring comfort in the days ahead.
