Lois Esther Summach
June 7, 1943 – September 3, 2025
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother, great-grandmother Lois Esther Summach, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 3rd, 2025.
Throughout her life, mom leaned on her unshakable faith, especially in this past year when she drew strength from James 5:16 (KJV): “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Her devotion to God was evident in the way she lived—always with a heart for service, compassion for others, and a steadfast spirit of prayer.
Lois’ family and loved ones will miss her so very much. She gave generously, loved deeply, and touched countless lives with her kindness. A gifted pianist, she found great joy in music, blessing her family, friends, and church community with her talent. She also loved to cook and was especially known for her delicious pies, which brought joy to many gatherings.
She loved people, investing great amounts of her time, money and energy in fostering friendships, caring for others and hosting gatherings both intimate and grand. Her guest book overflowed with testament to her love for others.
While our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is now in heaven, reunited with her dear husband Terry, whom she missed terribly since his passing. Together again, they share eternal peace and joy in the presence of our God.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, music, and family traditions that will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her. A celebration of life will be held graveside at Hillcrest Cemetery in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Clint and I just to extend our sincere condolences Lois was exactly how you describe. A very gracious lady.
Lois Summach will be missed by all who knew her. She will be especially missed by Berk, Brad, Karrisa and all her grandchildren. She will join all her aunts and uncles in heaven as well as Terry. Lois was a great cook and we spent many times at their home along with Terry.

Our deepest condolences to Lois’s family on her passing. We were fortunate to have Lois and Terry as next-door-neighbors for over 20 years, and what great neighbors they were! Lois always spoke highly of her family and loved family gatherings. She will be missed by all who knew her. Peace be with you, Lois. 🙏
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I am a nursing classmate of Lois’s and we both attended so many of our school’s reunions. We had such wonderful visits. Our 60th class reunion was on June 4, 2025 and again we had a wonderful visit.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. May you feel God’s comfort and care in these days ahead. Marty and Corinne and families, Saskatoon,SK
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Lois and Terry were two very gracious and giving people. We shared in musicals at the church with her and I worked for Terry in the early days at Flexi-Coil over 30 years ago. Working with Terry and the rest of the crew was a highlight in my 40 year career. Lois was a sharp, beautiful lady and both Karri and I were saddened by the news but immediately thought of where she is now and how much she longed to be with the Lord. Well done thy faithful servant. The music around you now is beyond our comprehension.
We are thankful to have known Lois. We have been blessed by her friendship, wonderful hospitality and good example. Paige shared a wonderful tribute to her grandmother. Lifting our prayers and thoughts to the family and Lois’s dear friends.
