August 9, 1991 – November 20, 2022

It is with unimaginable sorrow & the heaviest of hearts that we as a family announce the sudden & unexpected passing of our beloved Robert Dylan McAmmond at the age of 31 years. He is survived by his partner Kayla Bergen and their family of animals; his father Robert McAmmond; his sisters Ashley (Nathan) Rushton & Kaitlan (Gregory) Ellison; his nephews Isaiah & Jacob Rushton, and nieces Rowan Rushton & Azalea Ellison; as well as numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who he called family. He is predeceased by his mother Twyla McAmmond.

Dylan was an incredibly gifted creative who shared his passions & perspective of life with the world through his various expressive art forms. Things such as his photography & creative eye, his insightful writing, his way of tending to, loving & nurturing people, animals & plants. Dylan stood firm on his values & lived a life true to his beliefs.

 A Come & Go Gathering of Dylan’s family & friends will take place on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, SK. All are welcome to attend.

A more formal gathering to celebrate & remember Dylan will take place in August 2023.

Donations in Dylan’s honour can be made to the Huntington Society of Canada & SCAT Street Cat Rescue.

    Thank you Dylan for being an amazing friend to me all these past years. Your perspective on life truely changed me as a person and you meant so much to so many. I already miss our late night conversations. I’ll never forget you buddy and I’ll cherish the laughs we shared for the rest of my life. There will never be another quite like you. Love you man and enjoy the new trip.

    I’m very appreciative that he was the one that had my daughters heart they were great mates & best friends. Your parents raised a good man who extremely kind & strong in his beliefs & I admired that. RIP Dylan your time here was cut way too short!

    I’m so very sorry to hear about the tragic loss of Dylan. My thoughts and condolences are with his sisters his Father and his partner. My deepest sympathies . Terribly sad . Love and comfort to my cousins and Uncle .
