Frank Peters
March 26, 1936 – April 2, 2026
Frank Peters went home to the Lord peacefully on April 2, 2026, at the age of 90 years and 1 week. Frank was born on March 26, 1936, in the Warman Municipality to his parents Jacob and Tena Peters. Frank was baptized in 1956 and was a member of the Bergthaler Church from then on.
He was married to Eva Neufeld (Mom) on August 12, 1956, on a farm near Warman. They had 1 boy and 5 girls.
Frank (Dad) had many jobs. They moved to Alberta to work on a beet farm and he also worked for 3 years for the RM of Warman plowing snow. He farmed for 12 years and then worked 20 years for Flexi-Coil (CNH).
In his retirement he worked on harnesses. He also enjoyed camping a lot and going for a fish fry to Weyakwin Lake. Another of his favorite things to do was go to Radium Hot Springs.
Frank (Dad) moved to Dalmeny, SK after his heart attach in 2021, he lived there for 4 ½ years. He did not complain about much at the home.
Frank (Dad) will be missed by his children George (Agnes) Peters, Tina Bueckert, Eva (John) Rempel, Ann Hodgson, Helen (James) Hamm, Mary (Kelvin) Unruh; his 17 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Eva; 2 sons-in-law Ben Bueckert and Rodney Hodgson; grandson Matthew Hamm; and parents and parents-in-law; as well as one brother Corny Peters.
We thank the Dalmeny Spruce Manor Special Care Home for the years they took care of him.
A public viewing will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 7:00 pm at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny. The Funeral will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Warman Bergthaler Mennonite Church with burial to follow at Warman Cemetery.
