David P. Epp

September 25, 1956 – November 16, 2025

David Peter Epp of Saskatoon, SK passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, at the age of 69.     David is survived by his wife Carol; 3 sons David, Mark (Chelsea) and Joshua; six grandchildren – Thora, Isis, Grace, Lena, Wyatt, and Rose; siblings – Randy (Carol) Epp, Garth (Debbie) Epp, Peter Epp, Sandy Epp.  Mother-in-law:  Neta Gerbrandt, and siblings-in-law – Walt & Ev Gerbrandt, Don & Dana Gerbrandt, Harv & Ali Gerbrandt, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

David was predeceased by his parents, Peter & Anne Epp; a nephew, Scott; a niece, Andrea; and his father-in-law, Peter Gerbrandt, and also a very dear family friend, Janelle.

Remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, David is known for his adventurous spirit, dedication to family, entrepreneurial work in building maintenance, passion for mission work, and joyful humour.  David touched many lives through his service and relationships.

Dearest to his heart were his family. No one could lift his spirit as quickly as his sons, his grandchildren, siblings, and those whom he considered ‘family’.

Everyone will remember Dave for his humor and pranks, but also his wisdom. He had a way of bringing light and laughter into a room and connecting people.

He has left an enormous hole in our lives. Thankfully we have many amazing memories that will hold him close in our hearts.

  3. Dave ran our building, but over the years he became so much more than our resident Mr. Fix-It and egg man — he became our friend. He had a special way of remembering details, making people feel seen and heard, and he never failed to make us laugh. His presence brightened our days, and he will be deeply missed. Our thoughts go out to all of Dave’s family at this very difficult time.

  4. Blessings on a pillar family of the 1950/1960’s edition of Ebenezer, as we all knew it then. David grew up with my brother, which made our family happy to have another link to the Epps?

  13. David was (it’s so hard to think of him in the past tense) a friend of our church, the “Christian Fellowship” in Olsztyn, as well as a close friend to several families personally. He helped a great deal with the renovation work in our church building and financially supported many of our activities. I will remember him as one of the most devoted and selfless people I have ever met.
It is difficult to find words that adequately express the gratitude I personally feel for Dave’s life, as well as that of our church, the “Christian Fellowship” in Olsztyn.
It is even harder to find words to express our sorrow at his passing and the longing we feel, knowing that here in this world we will no longer meet, hug, or fool around together.

  21. We are so very sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. His fun loving presence will be missed. You were the kind of couple others wanted to be around because we always felt uplifted. I remember sitting behind Dave in a worship service. I said to him, ” New pants hey?” He said yeah, how did you know? He had left the sticky strip down the back of the leg stating the length. We laughed.
May you find daily strength Carol. Judy and Harry
