Martha Adrian

December 24, 1946 – September 10, 2025

Martha (Friesen) Adrian, beloved daughter born December 24, 1946 – September 10, 2025, to Abram H. Friesen and Susie (Bartsch) Friesen in Gruenthal Saskatchewan. Wife of John G. Adrian, mother to 4 children, grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Martha was predeceased by 3 brothers, 3 brothers-in-law, 1 sister, 1 sister-in-law, and 1 great granddaughter Harper Raine born October 18, 2022 – September 4, 2025. Martha loved all her siblings and in-laws that are still with us today and so many precious nieces and nephews, too many to count. She had a love for people of all kinds and loved to testify about the Word of God to any she came across throughout her life.

Martha had a love for life, and all the people in her life. She had an undeniable passion for cooking, entertaining, and loved for all her friends to enjoy all her baked goodness, and all the food you could eat. She was the most creative seamstress, loved to bless others with her singing, and so many other talents that were enjoyed by many. She taught her children unconditional love, and we all felt her love throughout our precious time with her. Martha will be missed dearly, but after a short struggle with Type 1 sugar diabetes, she went on to meet all those gone before her. May you rest in peace until we meet again.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Saskatoon Tabernacle just outside Martensville. To watch the live stream please click on the link below.

  2. Our prayers are with each of you during this sad yet joyous time. We sorrow not for Martha, but for those left behind. May you find great comfort in her precious memories and the promise of seeing her once again very very soon. God bless each one.

  3. What a lovely tribute to an amazing woman! She, like Jocelyn, was a true kindred spirit to me and when I grow up I too want to be just like Martha!
