
Eunice Hein
July 9, 1951 – June 16, 2025
Eunice Hein was born Eunice Helen Kasper on July 9,1951 in Burns Lake B.C and passed away on June 16, 2025. She struggled with her health for about 3 years.
Her father, Walter Kasper was born December 2, 1923, and passed away in October of 1973. Her mother Helen Fehr was born April 28, 1925, and passed away in December of 2012. Her stepfather, Lorne Ebach was born May 21, 1931, and passed away in July of 1994.
Eunice married Wayne Stobbe September 12, 1970. Wayne passed away October 10, 2006. Wayne and Eunice had a son Waylon, who was born December 10, 1981. Waylon and Amber Jacober have a family of four children (Bree, Bella, Banning and Brock).
Eunice married John Hein (born December 16, 1947) on October 6, 2007, and joined a family of three boys and their families. Son Brian (born May 22, 1967) and Val with family: Stacy and Mike Wainman, Brooke Bennett-Dyck and Kevin Dyck with children Janaya and Madilyn; Cory Bennett; & Jill Bennett. Son Bruce (born March 13, 1970) and Bev with Family: (Dallas, Alex, Zach). Son Brent (born May 15, 1973) and Terrie with family: Nicole and Colton Ostafie Jocelyn and Dillon James with children Jesse and Drew. Chris Hein.
Eunice was predeceased by her parents, her stepfather and infant brother Wayne as well as her first husband Wayne Stobbe. She was also predeceased by her stepson Bruce Hein (February 12, 2020).
Eunice began her working career at Mennonite Hail Insurance before moving to the Bank of Commerce in Hepburn. She had an opportunity to move to the Credit Union when it opened in Hepburn. Here she spent most of her working life. She enjoyed her career with the Credit Union as it offered many opportunities of learning and led to many lifelong friendships.
Upon retirement she and John travelled extensively for the next 10 years. Going south for the winter with their truck and RV and taking fly vacations most years. The summers, living in Rosthern, were spent doing yard work, looking after Duchess the dog, and taking the RV out to various parks.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, 7:00 p.m. at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, SK. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 21, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at the Warman Bergthaler Mennonite Church with interment to follow at Carson Cemetery. Our deepest condolences to the whole family on the passing of Eunice. My memories of her were from Hepburn and the Credit Union days. She was always happy and eager to help us all at the bank. She will be missed, may she rest in peace, free of all the pain and suffering in these last years.
