Mildred Kluey
February 21, 1940 – March 16, 2025
Mildred Yvonne Shirley Kluey passed away at Stensrud Lodge in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on March 16, 2025, at the age of 85.
She was the loving mother of Bruce Kluey.
She will be remembered by her sister Tiresa Stahl-Walker (Jeff).
She was predeceased by her parents Andrew B and Mae Stahl; brother Wayne Stahl; and sisters Gloria Thiessen and Mickey Schultz.
“Milly” was born and raised in the Saskatoon area. In 1955, after the unfortunate death of her mother, she went to work with her sister Mickey at the Mutual Life Assurance Company of Canada. It was the beginning of a great 40-year career. In 1981, she transferred to the branch in Edmonton as office manager.
She remained in Edmonton until 2008, when she returned to Saskatoon.
Like all of her siblings, she was very musical and loved to sing. She was a member of Sweet Adelines for 35 years.
She had a fun sense of humour and always enjoyed a get together or gathering.
She was very proud of her Hutterite heritage and enjoyed traveling. It was said she never saw a plane that she didn’t want to get on. Trips included Australia, Europe, Hawaii and throughout the United States.
Thank you to the staff of Stensrud Lodge and a special thank you to Gayanne Moore for many years of compassion, kindness and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society Of Canada.
Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

Dear Bruce,
Please know we are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers as we read about the passing of your beautiful Mom. She was truly a presence in every sense of the word. Draw comfort from the great memories you have of her.
I sang with Milly in the Gateway Chorus in Edmonton until she moved back to Saskatoon. She held every position possible on the board and also was very active in Region 26. She had an amazing sense of humor and came up with the most hilarious skits at camp. If you needed a job done, Milly was your gal.
She will now be singing harmony up in heaven with Marlene Eppy.
My dear sister was a force of nature and loved every moment of life. There are endless sweet memories of our lives growing up and spending time together. So sad to be without her. In my heart I am certain that she will be singing together with our siblings and parents in heaven.
Cousins Bruce and Tiresa
