Hilda Harder
May 16, 1931 – December 29, 2024
It is with heavy hearts, the family of Hilda Harder announces her passing on December 29, 2024, at St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care at the age of 93.
Hilda will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Larry (Vicki), Sharon (Randy); daughters-in-law Julie Bartsch and Alma Bartsch; grandchildren Jeff (Ashley), Russell (Alexis), Celeste (James), Natasha (Nick), Natalie (Pavel), Leigh (Autumn), Curtis, Christopher, Candace (Zane), Nicole, Shelby (Clinton), MacKenzie (Ryan); great grandchildren Aria, Aubrey, Mila, Charley, Remi, Jordan, Riley, Ethan, Harmony, Aker, Archer, Sage, Scottlyn, Isla and Indie.
She was predeceased by her first husband Abram Bartsch, second husband Ben Harder, and her two sons, Ronald and Leslie.
Mom had many talents which included gardening, cooking, canning and embroidery. She put her heart into everything she did and took great pride in all her accomplishments.
She worked alongside dad on the family farm until his health declined at which time they moved into Saskatoon. After dads passing, she learned how to navigate life on her own, until she met Ben Harder. Mom and Ben were married in November 2001. They had many wonderful years together until his passing in November 2021.
The last few years were very difficult for mom as she faced health challenges from numerous falls and having to say goodbye to her two oldest sons, Ron in July of 2021 and Leslie in January 2022.
She also had to say goodbye to her second husband in November of 2021.
Mom got her strength from the Lord, whom she loved dearly. On December 29th, God called Hilda home and while we are left with a void, we take great comfort in knowing that she is safe in the Lords arms.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, SK. To watch the live stream please click on the link below.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom.
I was very fond of your mom, I loved her embroidery and talent for decorating ❤️ I will miss playing crokinole with her.
