William “Bill” Wiebe
November 24, 1936 – December 25, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill Wiebe, beloved husband of Elizabeth, father of Betty (Greg) Gilroy, Bill, Dave (Maryann), John (Maria), Carol.
He will be lovingly remembered by his thirteen grandchildren and their families. Also his three sisters and one brother.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Helena, brothers, Jake and Henry, his sister Helen and grandchild Jodi and numerous sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
Dad’s love for his family knew no bounds. Though not a man to express his emotions, his actions spoke louder than words. He was ALWAYS there for everyone, family, friends or whoever he would meet in his daily travels.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Warman, Sask. A get together to share memories will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dalmeny Funeral Home. Mr Wiebe was a very kind and gentle man who cared deeply for others. He was always very friendly and welcoming. My sincerest condolences to the Wiebe family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ann and Bill and family as you mourn Bill’s passing..
I want to express our sympathies to the family of my cousin Bill Wiebe and I ask our Lord to give you His comfort as you mourn his passing. Since he was 4 years older than myself we did not get to know him very well but knew he was a great dad, husband and grampa.
