Katharina “Kay” Wiebe
August 24, 1927 – December 25, 2024
Katharina (Kay) Wiebe of Spruce Manor in Dalmeny, SK. Kay’s greatest desire was to be home with Jesus. A few minutes before midnight on Christmas Day she stepped off this earth and into His glorious presence.
She is survived by her six children: Doreen (Bill) Nyuli, Joanne (Al) Zavitz, Len (Nancy), Marlene (Ken) Dyck, Rosemary (Rick) McDonald, Tim. Grandchildren: Kurt Nyuli , Mark (Candace) Nyuli, Dean Nyuli; Joshua (Mikaira) Friesen, Naomi (Herman) Guenter, Caleb Friesen (Micaela Kwas); Ruth (Will) Stacey; Chris Wiebe, Chase Wiebe (Larissa Miscolsy); Pamela (Michael) Reid, Shawn (Katelyn) Dyck; Thomas (Katie) McDonald, Michael (Toveli) McDonald, Leigha McDonald, Eryn McDonald; Chantell Wiebe. Great-Grandchildren: Ethan, Katelyn, Samantha, Matthew & Heidi Nyuli; Farrah & Keagan Nyuli; Cadence, Aria, Aiden & Conrad Friesen; Alexa Friesen; Chloe & Calli Reid; Lux, Logan & Lena Dyck; Elizabeth, Ezra & Selah McDonald; Elizabeth, Clarice & Jayden Wiebe. She is also survived by her brother Richard (Helena) Wiebe. She is predeceased by her husband John D. Wiebe, parents Abram & Susana (Braun) Wiebe. Brothers: Abram, Heinrich, Johann (Jack), Wilhelm, Peter, David, Benjamin (in infancy: Johann & Fritz) Wiebe. Sisters: Susan Fehr, Helena Bueckert (Katharina age 2, infant Mary). Grandson Kevan Timothy Wiebe. Kay was also predeceased by her nephew Benjamin Bueckert and nieces Linda (Fehr) Olaksew and Jean (Wiebe) Goodfellow.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Spruce Manor Special Care Home for the love and care shown to Kay over the last fifteen months.
