Albert “Jules” Joseph Bouvier

October 28, 1938 – October 9, 2024

It is with a heavy heart announcing the passing of Albert Jules Joseph Bouvier on October 9th 2024. Jules was born in Roblin Manitoba on October 28, 1938. He was one of ten children. Dad started working at a very young age with his uncle Norman Bouvier with Manitoba Highways. In his early twenties he met his wife, they married and had seven children. They lived in Cranberry Portage, Manitoba and then relocated to Snow Lake, Manitoba in the mid-sixties. Dad worked for H.B.M.S. for over two decades. Dad was very active in the sports community, coaching hockey and participated in curling bonspiels. Life events happened and he relocated to Yellowknife NWT and worked for Giant Mines. Dad enjoyed watching hockey, poker, and the news. Dad  enjoyed music, comedy, and laughing(his laugh was the best). The late 80’s Dad relocated to Edmonton for a year and applied to the City of Calgary and was hired in 1990 with the Waterworks Department. Dad retired from the City of Calgary in 2005 at the age of 67. In 2012 Dad relocated to Saskatoon to be closer to family. He is survived by his children, Denise Roy, Richard Bouvier, Donna (Bob) Evans, Raymond Bouvier, Randy Bouvier, Corrina (Quentin) LeMoine. He was predeceased by his daughter Carolyn Bouvier and Grandchildren Quentin Bouvier, and Charlotte Roy.

Jules was a caring father and grandfather. He always worked hard and provided for his family. More importantly he believed family was everything.

Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.
