Lisa Alison Hamp

May 22, 1965 – September 30, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Lisa Hamp, who left us too soon on September 30, 2024, at the young age of 59 years, at RUH Saskatoon. She was born on May 22, 1965, in Saskatoon. She is resting in the hands of our Lord and Saviour. She was the heart of our world and soul that filled our lives with love, warmth, and meaning.

Lisa is survived by her loving parents Alice & Wilmer, brother Trenten (Nicole), nephews Scott and Ryan (Sarah), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and great cousins who will cherish her memory and the countless ways she enriched their lives.

Dear Alice, Wilmer, and Trent – I was so very sorry to learn of Lisa’s passing. I have many, many happy memories of our time growing up together and I will always hold them in my heart. In our early teens, we often called each other “bestest friends”. Her smile could light up a room. Her positivity and faith throughout her life, regardless of the challenges that life presented, were inspiring. I know you’ll miss her dearly. I’m sorry I won’t be able to join you as you honour her life, but I will watch the livestream, and I will be praying with you. Sending love to you all, Sue Hewitt.

Lisa was someone who pointed others to Jesus in a profound way. She blessed me and my family so much back when we attended Rock of Ages with her, and by keeping in touch with us in the years since then. I know that her legacy of faith will keep impacting the world even now that she’s in heaven.
