With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear Mom and Grandma Jean Elizabeth Sherman of Langham, formerly of Maymont.

On August 23, 2024 a golden heart stopped beating, just shy of her 87th birthday at Royal University Hospital after a brief and courageous struggle with renal failure.

Jean is survived by her five children – Kim (Judy), Chris (Kimmy), Diane (Doug), Donna (Glenn), Denise (Blaire), 13 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Extended families – Her partner George Orr’s families, Kim (Gertrude) Maxwell & family, and Lyle (Tiana) Large & family. Predeceased by her husband Everett, partner George Orr, infant son Kevin, sister Norrie, sister-in-law Norma, niece Wendy, parents and parents-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Sharon United Church, Maymont, SK.

    My deepest condolence to the Sherman family. Jean was a wonderful soul and sang like an angel. The love she shared with everyone will be ever lasting. I recall her wonderful singing voice always and loving words when ever we meet. Rest in peace Jean!
