Dan McLeod
April 25, 1978 – July 27, 2024
Dan McLeod, age 46, passed away in Saskatoon on July 27, 2024. He was born to Winona McLeod (nee Nelson) and Eugene McLeod on April 25, 1978, in Prince Albert Saskatchewan.
Dan was 6 years old when his mom got remarried to Robert Mess of Saltcoats, Saskatchewan a wonderful man who became the only father Dan had ever really known. He was raised on a farm just outside of Saltcoats where he went to school from grade 1-9, and later took his high school in Yorkton SK. He met his wife Jaime in their teenage years and fell in love and got married after having a beautiful baby girl Brittany. Soon to follow was their other beautiful daughter Chelsea, Tyson their wonderful boy came into the picture and their family was complete. The family moved to Saskatoon where they have lived for 20 some years, where Dan worked different jobs throughout the years, always looking after his wife and children the best he knew how. He loved and cherished them and would make sure they didn’t want for anything. The loss of their father and husband will be felt for years to come but they will always know that Dan loved them more than life itself. The loss will be especially felt by his grandson AJ who loved to be around his papa, and who Dan loved so very much.
Dan is survived by his wife Jaime; his children, daughters Brittany (grandson AJ) and Chelsea, and son Tyson; his mother Winona Mess and stepfather Robert Mess; his brothers Robert McLeod (wife Jennifer), Scott McLeod (wife Christine) and Shawn McLeod (wife Valerie); and his nephew’s Jake McLeod ( fiancé Alyssa and daughter Ayla), Hayden McLeod and Aston McLeod; as well as numerous aunts and uncles and cousins on the McLeod side, Mess side, and the Nelson side.
Though Dan may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain. May he rest in eternal peace in Gods care, he will be forever missed.

I have many fond memories of Christmas Eves and summer sleepovers at Grandma and Grandpa’s with all of my cousins. Hope your own memories help with the grief.
