We are sad to announce the passing of Valerie into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 11, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 16, 1983, in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, the eldest child of Ken and Mary Munchinsky.

Valerie grew up on the family farm near Sovereign, SK.  She attended school in Milden and Rosetown. Her post secondary education was at Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta.  She received a Diploma in Interior Design.

Valerie loved designing kitchens and worked for several different business in Saskatoon.

The last five years she worked for Lexis Homes. The move to designing houses was a natural transition for Valerie.

Valerie met Chase Dale in 2009 and they were married on July 3, 2010.  They made their home in Martensville. Valerie loved being a mother to their children Vanessa & Jensen.

Valerie is survived by her husband Chase Dale, her daughter Vanessa, and her son Jensen.  She is also survived by her parents Ken & Mary Munchinsky, her sister Bonnie (Adam Dunstall), Ruby and Harry; her brother Andrew (Rachelle), Toby & Leo. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Marcia Dale; brothers-in-law Tristan (Tanieth), Cole (Kailey) and sisters-in-law Danielle and Tamara (Ken) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Valerie was predeceased by her grandparents Jerry and Marjorie Munchinsky, Peter and Anna Redekop, her father-in-law Richard Dale and aunt May Philps.

A public come and go viewing will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 7-8 p.m. at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny SK.  The Funeral will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, 315 Lenore Drive, Saskatoon, SK with the burial to follow at Martensville Cemetery.

    You have all been in our prayers for such a long time. Valerie has fought for so long to stay with you all but it was time for her to find peace in the arms of her Lord. Someone so special is hard to say goodbye to. We pray that you will all find comfort in your memories with her.
