Gordon MacKinnon
July 17, 1934 – January 7, 2024
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and friend Gordon MacKinnon.
Gord was born in Edam SK, lived in Fairholme, Rockhaven, North Battleford, and resided in Saskatoon since 1986.
Gord is predeceased by his first wife Pat, second wife Fern, and his eldest son David. He is survived by his son Scott, his 3 grandchildren: Carli, Shelbi, and Kole, and his sisters Beth and Eleanor.
Gord made many friends over the years and was noted for his great memory of people and places. In his early years, Gord worked for CNR, then switching careers into real estate and insurance. He enjoyed curling, hunting, fishing, and aviation. Gord was a licensed pilot and enjoyed his short flights around Saskatchewan. In more recent years Gord loved to talk football with his grandson and listen to all styles of music with his son. He enjoyed being on his computer and spending time with his wife Fern before she passed just last year.
We love you gramps and we wish you peace in Heaven.
