It hurts less knowing you’re finally with Grandpa, pain free and the dementia is gone. Sing with the angels Grandma. May your beautiful voice be heard through our pain. Memories with comfort…..until we meet again.

    Gma,
You were the living breathing example of what it is to be a woman of God. Every word, action, and intention was honour and serve the Lord, and by your words, actions, and intentions, we come to know and love the Lord as you have. You led the way for us with nothing but love and an extreme amount of patience as some of us dawdled, fell, but you picked us up again. To the very end you sang the Lord’s praises and now it’s up to us to do the same as we remember you. I will never forget our bible studies and how excited you got just to share the word of God with me, the letters you sent me, and singing on the phone even though I am a horrible singer. You built a family with a prayer and answered a call never knowing where it might lead you. I thank God you answered that call, because of God we were blessed with you. Proverbs 31:30
    Love K

My dearest granny. Even though you almost made it to 98 years, I still can’t believe you are really gone. I have peace and comfort knowing you are now with Grampa dancing with the angels at Jesus feet. Thank you for showing me what it is to put the Lord at the centre of my life, be a great mother and just a good human. The stories of how you have touched people all around the world are so inspiring and makes me so grateful that I had the honour of being not only your granddaughter but one of your best friends. I will forever miss you and love you. Until we meet again when my last breath comes I will go forward honouring your memory in every way I can. I miss you so much already.
    Love Andria

    Great Grandma
Because of you I am surrounded by God fearing women who strive to live as you did and be the light you reflected on them. A lagacy I am so proud to be a part of. My first prayer was with you and my last prayer is for you. Visit me in my dreams and tell me about our Jesus. Until God calls us home I will miss you.

Heaven shines a little brighter with your presence. May you always enjoy the presence with Reuben.
I have many fond memories of you and Reuben at the DIRKS reunions in the Waldheim district and our visits over the years. You were such a blessing.

Uncle Rueben and Aunt Lois had no children of their own for many years, so they made nieces and nephews feel special. Of course they became great favorites. When we visited them in North Dakota they took us to an ice cream parlor and treated us to hot fudge sundaes, an amazing first time experience for farm kids from Dalmeny. Best of all they set the example of faithful love. They showed how you never give up on your loved ones, never stop praying for them, never stop finding opportunities to show generosity and love, just like Jesus. How wonderful our world would be if filled with people like them!

I used to do Lois hair and got to know her and Wilma quite well, during my time in Dalmeny. I know she went running into the loving arms of her Rueban and joyfully reunited with wilma as well. Rest easy Lois. Thankyou for being the sweet and kind lady you were to me all those years ago ❤️
