Dr Block led the best lab I every worked in, providing me with leadership and trust over 13 years to function with as much independence as possible.

We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Block we won’t forget. Memories of his amazing train set up. We enjoyed fellowship at Oshkidee for a few years to. Since I am related through the Blocks I would see him at some of my family funerals. We would always have a wonderful chat. It has been a privilege to have known him. God bless you all at this time and may memories bring great joy and tears of joy!!

To my cousins and Aunt Susan my condolences.
I remember Uncle Henry’s laugh and smile.
Being from the east I don’t have a lot of memories.
What comes to mind is the greeting my Dad will have expressed at their meeting again. Uncle Henry’s Prayers left in Gods care for each of you. The new ones expressed with complete confidence in the power of our Saviour. May the peace and confidence of our hope comfort you.
    Love to all,
    Carol,Ann

I have never thought of myself as a lost boy but there were times in my life when my father was often away for weeks at a time. I’m sure my mother relied on the faithful God fearing men at Central MB church to give me the guidance that perhaps was missing in my life. It was men like Henry Block, Stan Priebe and Pete Siemens who, through Boys Brigade or Sunday School, mentored me. Henry gave me a love for the outdoors. He along with Stan Priebe led me and a few other campers on a canoe trip on the Churchill River. I am very grateful ( and my brothers would say the same) for Henry’s dedication and commitment to the boys who attended Stockade and Boys Brigade. I sometimes ask myself why I still hold onto the Christian faith. It started with seeds sown by those faithful men in my life. Thank you Henry.
