I am saddened to see this. I worked with Anne for many years at the Army and Navy and she was such a treat to work with. She was hard-working, always cheerful, and delightfully funny. My condolences to the family.

I’m sad to hear of Anne’s passing. We lived beside her at Edmund Park for many years. She was so good to our kids. Our joke was I would shovel her walk and cut her lawn while she watched out the window then I would flat out deny it was me even though we had just waved at each other through the window and we would both get the giggles. She was a marvellous human being. I think of her every Christmas when I hang the decoration she got for the kids.

Anne was a very special lady. She worked for our Mom and Dad when Larry and I were born and a two year old in our home at the time. Anne and I reconnected for special lunch and coffee times in the 90’s and later. Anne kept a close friendship with our Mom,Vivian Thiessen.Condolences to her family. May she Rest in Peace.

I treasured a friendship with Anne in her latest fifteen years and saw her several times a week after her broken hip. She certainly was a loving, charming, faithful friend. If you Rita, and Larry are twins, then you are family I’ve enjoyed many stories about. When Anne said how she ‘adored those babies’ her eyes would shine. I got her to re-tell many times of your folks not getting home when they planned to, and Anne milking six cows while running back to the house regularly to check on the babies. She never promoted her own ability; the point was always how the Lord took care of things. You remained dear to her heart.

Aunt Ann was a wonderful lady! I can still hear her voice. I remember going to Saskatoon with my parents (Ray and Linda Schmidt) and brother to visit her for tea and go to church. The last time I saw her was in 2007 in Creston for Aunt Rose’s birthday. I talked to her a couple of times after that but had lost touch over the last few years. She was incredibly lovely and I think of her often. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Rest in Power sweet Ann!

We lived next door to Anne in Edmund Heights 1984 -1990.
What a wonderful lady, beautiful smile.
So very kind to us and our three kids.
Loved it when we could hear her singing.. Annes’ life radiated peace and joy she found in a personal relationship with Jesus.
Anne was so encouraging to us as a family with 3 young kids.. she was like a ‘ ‘gramma’ to them .
Just a very special lady ❤️
