Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022.

She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Margaret Neudorf, her husband George Hamm, her daughter Karen Fyson and her siblings Erdman Neudorf and Henry Neudorf. She was also predeceased by George’s parents and siblings. Her legacy lives on in her children Gordon Hamm, Sheila (Len) Enns, Les (Betty) Hamm and Michael Hamm and in her grandchildren Elijah Hamm, Brad (Jenn) Enns, Jeff Enns, Steve (Melissa)Enns, Brian (Kristi) Fyson. Brenda Fyson, Tamara (Jason) Shields, Amanda (Chris) Stehr, Joel (Carla) Hamm and Trinity Hamm as well as 20 great grand children. She also leaves to mourn her passing 2 sisters in law Jean Neudorf and Hilda (Marvin) Arndt, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Hilda was known for her energy and tenacity. She loved gardening and baking and supplied vegetables and bread to the Saskatoon Farmers Market for many years. She always had a recipe in mind and loved to add her personal touch to it. She took Master Gardener Classes at the U of S and as much as she loved houseplants and flowers, nothing beat a vegetable garden. She was an avid knitter and gave afghans and dish cloths to all her friends and family. She was proud to have 240 acres of her land north of Asquith, be a part of Nature Conservancy of Canada with a lovely walking trail through it.

The family would like to thank the Sunrise Place Care Home on the Rosthern Youth Farm for making her transition from health through illness such a happy time. She reconnected childhood memories with the residents there and she dearly loved all the staff who lovingly and respectfully cared for her so well.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, SK. Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

Mary Ann and I send our condolences to the family. Hilda was my Aunt, and one of the busiest people I know.
We always lived hundreds of miles apart during my adult years, thus, did not see them often. Both she, and Uncle George were very welcoming during the times we did see one another. I have fond memories of them both. I anyone was worthy of arriving at Heaven’s Gates, Hilda would have earned a place there.

It was an honor getting to know Hilda while she lived in Sunrise Place for the past 9 months. Her sense of humor and wit has created numerous “wonderful” memories.
    We will miss her.
